DARE YOURSELF

with Nataly Kogan

An interactive art-fueled experience for daring yourself into what's next

There are new dimensions of you asking to be expressed

New directions for your work and your life, ideas and dreams you haven't let yourself follow yet, new and bold ways you want to express yourself.

But often, we hold back. We talk ourselves out of them because somewhere along the way we get practical and reasonable, and we’ve let our fear stories take over.

This is the place to loosen the inner limits, uncover what’s calling to you, step into a fuller, bolder version of yourself, and dare yourself to create what feels most true.

The art is the magic

Picture a room, color and paper in front and all around you, and me guiding you.

You put color down before your mind has a plan for it. You create instead of analyze. And as you do, you begin to experience yourself in a whole different way.

That's the whole secret of working with your hands. The part of you that edits and second-guesses goes quiet, and you reach dimensions of yourself that thinking, talking and journaling can't touch.

You feel freer. More in tune with yourself. New ideas arrive that you weren’t expecting.

You don't need to know how to paint. This is not an art class.

You need a willingness to play, explore, and be bold, and I'll be making right alongside you.

HERE’S THE ARC WE’LL FOLLOW TOGETHER

➔ We play. Loose and free, no plan, no perfectionism.

➔ You uncover your dare. The exciting and slightly terrifying thing you feel called to create or do next, the one that’s been quietly knocking or loudly calling.

➔ You release what's in the way. You identify the resistance, fear or beliefs that hold you back, loosen them, and choose a new belief to fuel your dare.

➔ You declare your dare. You paint your dare onto one collective canvas we build together. Your dare becomes part of something larger than you and is infused with the energy everyone else has brought to the room.

At the end, I free each dare from the whole, and yours comes home with you.

THERE’S A SCIENCE TO THIS

When you make something with your hands, you feel a greater sense of agency, which fuels your self-trust and confidence.

Carl Jung said that creativity is a core human instinct, like thirst and hunger. When we ignore it, we literally drain ourselves. When we fuel it, we grow into our fullest expression.

That’s what we’ll be doing together.

This is how everything in your life grows and expands

When you express the truest version of who you are, you become more yourself in every room you walk into. Your work gets bolder. Your business grows. You lead more clearly, you're more present, you feel more alive. The people around you feel it.

We are at our best when we stop holding back. When we dare ourselves.

That is when you do your most meaningful, rewarding work and create the impact only you can have.

  • You leave as a bolder, fuller version of yourself.

You feel more alive, vibrant, with a truer sense of what you want and a deeper belief in what's possible.

You feel freer and lighter because you’ve left behind a few of the stories that were holding you back.

And you carry home your Dare Artwork, painted by you!

It’s a promise to yourself that becomes your artifact of becoming.

On the days the vision feels far away, it reminds you what you dared to see, and asks you to take the next small step.

This is the most authentic expression of my life’s work

I spent the first half of my life building and walking through walls.

I came to this country as a refugee at thirteen, with no English and no money. I went on a chase of happiness through success, with a super-impressive career from McKinsey to Microsoft, becoming a managing director at a VC firm at 25, building 3 companies, including Happier, which became the world’s largest gratitude app.

For decades I defined myself by what I made and proved. But happiness remained elusive.

Then, at the height of it, I burned out. I had done everything I thought I should… but felt disconnected from myself, my aliveness and purpose. Everything went dark.

Art brought me back to life.

I picked up a paintbrush at 40, with no training, simply because it made me feel alive. The more I created, the more alive I felt, and the more of what I wanted I could see. My work, my business, my impact, all of it expanded, because I dared to express this dimension of myself.

I kept this part of my story hidden for years. When my team pushed me to put it in my keynote, I resisted, worried what rooms of executives would think. I did it anyway. And people tell me, again and again, that hearing it helped them name what was calling them, and finally go after it.

This experience comes straight out of my own life and I am honored to share it with you.

ARE YOU WILLING TO HEAR THE CALL?

You've built the career, the reputation, the life that you’re proud of.

And underneath, something keeps calling, something you’ve not expressed because the timing wasn't right, or it felt like too much, or you buried it under stories of why it’s not possible.

What this experience gives you is the space to hear it, to tell the truth about it, and to dare yourself to create it, alongside others doing the same.

Bringing the Dare Yourself Experience to your group

If you lead a team, a community, a retreat, or a gathering ready to expand into more daring versions of who they are, this experience is for you. The most alive rooms happen when a whole group dares together.

The Dare Yourself Experience is available on its own, or paired with my keynote. In person, in my Boston studio or at your location, or live virtual for groups anywhere. Size and length shaped to your gathering.

Dare yourself to paint with a larger palette. Make bolder strokes. Be less afraid of getting it wrong.

The only mistake you can make is to leave your life canvas unpainted.

You are the artist of your life
