Week 1
This week, you’re going to create your Meet Yourself Ritual and daily journaling practice!
When we meet other people, we check in with them, right? We ask how they’re doing, we listen to what they share, and we offer our presence and attention.
But most of us don’t do this with ourselves… until now!
This week, you’re going to focus on creating and practicing your Meet Yourself Ritual — it’s such a simple and beautiful practice!
Every day, set aside a few minutes to meet yourself.
You can do this whenever you have a few minutes to be alone and quiet (I do my ritual in the morning.)
Grab your Awesome Human Journal and something to write with (or if you’re using a blank journal or notebook, that’s fine too!)
Every day this week, I’ll send you an email with a prompt from the Daily Practice Pages in the journal. I’ll share some un-boring neuroscience for why each one is essential to fueling your well-being and emotional fitness and a few suggestions for how to approach it.
By the end of the week, you’ll have explored all the prompts in the Daily Practice pages in the journal — and this will become your daily Meet Yourself Ritual!
The Awesome Human Journal has many Daily Practice pages that contain the same daily prompts, except for the daily question. And when you run out of these pages, you can keep your Meet Yourself Ritual going by using the same prompts in a blank journal.
Make your Meet Yourself Ritual something you enjoy! It should feel like an exhale, not yet another thing to add to your list.
